Construction and IT, do they go together? We definitely think so, which is why we employ over 280 colleagues in the IT & Digitalization (ID) department. They take care of ongoing IT operations as well as the new and further development of our digital solutions. ID consists of the IT Infrastructure, Development & Consulting, BIM and Innovation Scouting departments.

BIM (building information modelling) is a software-supported approach to the optimised design, construction and management of buildings. The building is displayed in its entirety in a digitally visualised design model, connecting the various teams, such as architecture, system and structural engineering, and mechanical and electrical equipment.

1/4 IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND SECURITY
More than 80 colleagues from the IT Infrastructure and Security department ensure that all IT services function reliably. This means that our department is not only responsible for client hardware, support and IT security. Rather, we form the basis for user support, administration of our numerous locations, securing our IT systems, operation of data centers and infrastructure from various cloud providers. In addition, we work with the specialist departments to look at their sensitive business processes and where GOLDBECK has its sensitive areas.
