Sustainable school construction: primary school realised in just 18 months

The example of the new Bregenzer Straße primary school in Monheim am Rhein (Germany) shows how it can be done. After a construction period of just 18 months, a school building with a gross floor area of 4,900 square metres and an 800 square metre single-field sports hall has been created here, offering plenty of space for a wide range of activities. A real eye-catcher of the new school: the light-flooded wooden connecting structure, which forms the centre of the building with its large glass front.
