Sunderland Riverside

Completed by GOLDBECK in 2023 for the Sunderland City Council and honoured with the British Parking Award in the category "Best New Car Park 2023". Special features include extensive greenery on the stairwell façade and a perforated metal façade that is illuminated at night, alluding to the nearby sea and enhancing the cityscape. The car park offers barrier-free parking spaces, 115 charging points for electric vehicles and additional parking spaces for motorcycles and bicycles. There is also a photovoltaic system on the eastern roof area.
