Renovation multi-storey car park Münzstraße
The Münzstraße multi-storey car park, built in 1970, offers 214 parking spaces across eleven levels, two of which are underground. Thanks to an intelligent renovation concept, Goldbeck Parking Services were able to carry out the refurbishment works while parking operations continued. The works spanned a period of around one and a half years.
The client is Quantum Immobilien AG, a Hamburg-based project developer and investment manager. Since October 2023, Goldbeck Parking Services have also been operating the car park. Quantum is one of Goldbeck Parking Services’ long-standing clients.

Structural damage and need for renovation
Over the years, the Münzstraße multi-storey car park exhibited significant structural damage as well as clear signs of wear and tear. There was a considerable backlog of maintenance and a corresponding need for renovation. In particular, severely corroded reinforcements on the lower levels made a comprehensive renewal of the concrete structure necessary.
Renovation during ongoing park operations
The renovation of the car park in Lüneburg was carried out in several phases, so that only partial areas were closed at any one time. This meant that the car park remained available to customers throughout the renovation period.
