The road to sustainable transformation

In this project, GOLDBECK Sustainability Consulting is working on the sustainable development of a property portfolio of around 1,000 properties for the nationwide service capital management company HANSAINVEST.

 

As a first step, the service unit is carrying out a CREEM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) analysis of the entire property portfolio in order to assess the individual properties in terms of their stranding risk. The risk of a reduction in the value of the properties is determined on the basis of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Based on this analysis, the Sustainability Consultants prepare risk reports at portfolio, fund, fund partner and asset level. These reports provide crucial information to bring the portfolio in line with the national decarbonisation paths of the respective asset class and to enable a well-founded risk assessment of the entire property portfolio.

 

In a second step, the software development company BuildingMinds, which also specialises in sustainability, is supporting digital data preparation and analysis as part of a project partnership. Property managers and owners thus benefit from effective methods for data use, technology-supported analyses and the development and implementation of cost-efficient ESG strategies. This forms an ideal basis for the sustainable transformation of HANSAINVEST's property portfolio.
