Editorial

Dear readers,

The challenge Germany and Europe are facing is clear: we need to move from planning to action. The European Commission’s “Competitiveness Compass” encapsulates this ambition: competitiveness is driven by innovation, investment and decisive action. Particularly in times of weak economic growth and changing market conditions, the ability to deliver determines how successfully companies seize opportunities and shape change. We see artificial intelligence as an important lever for automating processes in design, construction and operation, and for unlocking new potential.

We are addressing today’s challenges with experience, pragmatism and the pioneering spirit that has always defined GOLDBECK. With a total turnover of €6.3 billion and 526 buildings delivered, GOLDBECK has once again demonstrated its capability. Our service units manage 2,478 properties. In the 2025/26 financial year, GOLDBECK maintained a strong position, recording an encouraging order intake of €7.3 billion. This high level of demand is also reflected in residential construction, where order intake rose to more than €1 billion.

New Build & Refurbishment

We delivered 526 turnkey projects in the financial year 2025/26.

Our product range is broad, but the starting point of our work is always the same: we build on the basis of industrially manufactured system components – quickly, cost-effectively, and with architectural design freedom.

Industrial buildings

282 industrial buildings delivered

Our factory floor solutions provide space for every use – from optimal logistics processes to efficient production processes.

The basis for our systematic approach to building is our in-house production.

A central element of our business model: delivering buildings economically, quickly and with precisely matched functionality. We produce most of our system components in our 16 plants in Europe. Illustrated by figures: about 141,000 tons of steel left our steel construction plants in the last financial year and around 461,000 cubic metres of concrete provided the basis for our systemised construction. As a result, we are not subject to external influences and can be sure our products will be consistently reliable.

Building refurbishment

Existing buildings are in greater demand than ever. We contribute our experience in existing building refurbishment as well as our expertise in managing the life cycle of a wide product portfolio.

Revitalized modern office space with large windows and city views. The previous building structure in need of renovation can be seen in the round circle.

GOLDBECK refurbishments

We handle renovation and refurbishment projects across all asset classes – from multi-storey and underground car parks through to industrial buildings, offices, residential properties and school buildings.

From Stranding Risk to Showcase Project

Using the Phoenix office building in Eschborn as an example, GOLDBECK demonstrates how existing buildings can be elevated to a level of sustainability previously associated primarily with new builds. Here, GOLDBECK has not only modernised the existing building, but also strategically enhanced it across almost all relevant dimensions of sustainability. The result is that a potential stranded asset has become a showcase project for working with existing buildings, with the clear aim of achieving DGNB Platinum certification.

Sustainability

We take responsibility

Since our family business was founded in 1969, economic stability, resource efficiency and value-driven action have been part of our identity. We are forward-looking in our planning, use our system-based construction methods to save on resources, and keep our buildings’ operation sustainable. For us, sustainability means constructing and operating buildings that are viable for the future, committing ourselves to common values and conserving natural resources – not just for now, but also for future generations.

Sustainability
We firmly believe that sustainability only comes into its own when it pays off not only ecologically and socially, but also economically.

Road to Net Zero

At the beginning of 2026, we opened a research center for concrete at our precast concrete plant in Hamm (Westphalia). At the Concrete Innovation Center, our research and work focus above all on decarbonising the building material.

By digitally connecting scientific expertise and start-up approaches with the real production environment across our plants, we aim to make precast concrete elements with net-zero emissions possible in the medium term.

Gebrüder Weiss
Austria

For Gebrüder Weiss, GOLDBECK RHOMBERG delivered a 10,000-square-metre office building on top of a multi-storey logistics hall in Wolfurt. The combination of CO₂-reduced concrete and a louvered façade makes the project a distinctive example of integrated office architecture.

Innovation

Pioneering spirit
Our founder Ortwin Goldbeck’s vision of working in a systematic way is reflected in our strong drive for innovation and pioneering spirit.
We are constantly questioning the status quo

We anticipate trends and see ourselves as technological leaders and drivers of innovation within the construction and real estate industry. The use of artificial intelligence strengthens our mission to deliver future-oriented properties and services in Europe.

  • We have scouted 1,765 start-ups in the meantime and assessed them with our business model in mind.
  • In 172 current product development projects, we demonstrate that we are continuously refining our products.
  • 8.2 terabytes of knowledge are saved in our data warehouse.
  • 5,400 active BIM360 projects make us the European leader in the digitalisation of planning processes.
  • More than 41,000 photorealistic building visualisations have been generated by design managers using RenderAI since its rollout at the beginning of 2026. The AI-based app helps them create photorealistic visualisations of buildings.
We act boldly, with a pioneering spirit and based on our system. This is how we are shaping the future of the construction industry and implementing customised solutions for our customers.
