The road to a blue future
With Module 8 on the Siemens Campus in Erlangen, we have committed ourselves for the first time to not exceeding a maximum CO₂ value per square metre built. Our systematised construction methods already save a considerable amount of material and CO₂, e.g. our ceiling constructions require an average of 40% less material than conventional construction methods. We also rely on high recycling rates for steel and aluminium as well as low-clinker concrete. The buildings are also realised as “all-electric buildings“, i.e. they exclusively use renewable energy, including photovoltaic systems. Smart building technology enables energy-efficient control of temperature, lighting and ventilation.
Certification of office buildings
All GOLDBECK office buildings fulfil the requirements of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and are pre-certified with the DGNB multiple gold certificate. This makes certification economical, quick and easy for you.
On request and depending on the location, we can also support you with international certifications such as LEED and BREEAM.
