2024/25 financial year: Goldbeck achieves record order intake and focuses on innovation and sustainability
“The record order intake demonstrates our company’s resilience and the high demand for our holistic, serial, and systematised solutions,” says Jörg-Uwe Goldbeck, Co-CEO. His brother, Co-CEO Jan-Hendrik Goldbeck adds: “People need spaces to live, work, and learn more than ever. With our approach, we can plan, build, and operate efficiently and with high quality – thus providing an answer to current infrastructural challenges.”
Successful across Europe
Goldbeck is present at 118 locations in 21 countries, with around 32 per cent of total output generated outside of Germany. In 2024/25, the company delivered 480 new construction projects and 87 refurbishments in the asset classes of logistics and production, office buildings, school buildings, multi-storey car parks, fire stations and residential buildings. Flagship projects for public clients include ten training centres for the General Customs Directorate, and 60 THW buildings, both commissioned by the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA).
Growth drivers: residential buildings, schools, and data centres
Goldbeck is experiencing particularly strong growth in residential construction: order intake reached €691 million, and over €1 billion is expected for 2025/26. Demand for holistic school and learning environments is also increasing in the education sector. In addition, Goldbeck is pushing a new data centre strategy: with systematised processes, in-house production, and pan-European construction expertise, the company will realise data centres quickly and securely. A current major project in Marseille serves as the first milestone.
Innovation and sustainability as the foundation for the future
More than 400 employees drive research and development – from AI applications in planning and construction processes to new technologies in prefabrication. Goldbeck is also consistently pursuing its ambitious sustainability goals. By the 2030s, the company aims to build in a nature-positive way and deliver buildings that act as CO₂ sinks. In Hamm, Goldbeck is opening the Concrete Innovation Center, which combines decarbonisation solutions from research and practice. With the Blue Buildings product line, sustainability goals such as energy efficiency, biodiversity, and circularity are implemented in projects.
Services for the entire building lifecycle
A key foundation is the service division, where Goldbeck now manages more than 2,200 properties: from parking garages and office buildings to public facilities. Services include property management, facility management, and operation within the framework of PPP projects, supplemented by sustainability consulting that supports investors with ESG strategies. With the majority stake in Weiser GmbH Brandschutz & Technik, Goldbeck also expanded its portfolio in 2024 to include fire protection services, including 24/7 service. “As a lifecycle partner, we combine planning, construction, and operation into an integrated offer. This continuous value creation is rare in the market and offers real added value to our customers,” emphasises Jan-Hendrik Goldbeck.
Value-oriented path into the future
Goldbeck employs over 13,000 people. The company values – humanity, responsibility, trust, performance, and pioneering spirit – form the basis for its successful further development, according to the company. “Especially in turbulent times, we rely on innovation, systematisation, and sustainability,” summarises Jörg-Uwe Goldbeck. “This is how we actively shape the future of construction in Europe.”
