Your apprenticeship

As a technical system designer, you will specify how construction elements are produced and fitted on site with the aid of technical drawings. You will design these construction elements using aluminium, steel, sheet metal and concrete and apply the correct dimensions to them. In the practical phase, you will then experience first-hand how the construction elements are produced based on your drawings, before learning to draw up parts lists and calculations for the construction site. Depending on the focus of your training, you will also learn how to design ventilation, heating and sanitary facilities or electrical systems.

As an IT specialist for system integration you will be responsible for both the hardware (e.g. laptops, printers and telephones) and the software. You will analyse your colleagues’ requirements in the company and decide which hardware and software is to be used, while always keeping an eye on which servers and networks are to be integrated. Regular updates and maintenance work will be just as much part of your tasks as user support. As an IT expert, you will ensure that your colleagues get help quickly when any problems arise.

During your training as a construction mechanic, you will gradually develop into an expert in the processing of steel and metal. You will start with a practical phase in our training workshop, where you will first learn the basics of steel and metal processing (e.g. bending, filing, welding, testing and measuring) and how to work with complex technical drawings.

You will then move on to practical work: you will work at various stations in our production and experience how construction elements for our buildings are created from raw materials. You will also familiarise yourself with different systems and machinery, such as CNC sawing machines or robot welding systems.

The training is supplemented by inter-company phases in which you will learn even more about the assembly and welding units. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you can take on a variety of tasks in production or continue your training to become a technician or master craftsman.

As an industrial mechanic, you will ensure that production facilities are ready for use: you will set up new machines, put them into operation and give them regular maintenance to guarantee faultless production. You will use CNC facilities to help prepare construction elements for new machines or install already finished components. Modern measuring instruments will be there for your use every day. Should any machine be defective, however, you will quickly be there to carry out the repair.

After successfully completing your apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, you can expect a wide range of opportunities in production and maintenance. In addition, you can continue your targeted development and, for example, aim for further training to become a technician or master craftsman in order to broaden your career prospects.

As a concrete/reinforced concrete builder, you will fabricate steel reinforcement based on construction plans, which will later be used to strengthen the concrete. You will then install this reinforcement into formwork into which the concrete is poured. In doing so, you will work with a variety of materials and process them with skilled craftsmanship. Your duties will also include testing and curing the concrete mix. The components you produce are then transported to construction sites and help, for example, to build multi-storey car parks. During the first two years of your apprenticeship, you will complete the general phase and then become a building construction specialist. In the third year, you will specialise as a concrete and reinforced concrete builder.

This training is supplemented by inter-company phases, during which you will expand your knowledge in a targeted manner and gain in-depth insights into the field of assembly. Upon successful completion of your training, a wide range of career opportunities will be open to you in both production and assembly.

As a trainee machine and plant operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the production equipment we use to manufacture components. You will set it up, commission it, operate it and reconfigure it. This means you will identify and rectify faults. 

During the two-year apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need to know about operating and monitoring the machinery, both at our company and at vocational college. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, if your performance is good, you can go on to further training as an industrial mechanic and expand your qualifications in a targeted manner.

As a warehouse specialist you will be responsible for receiving and dispatching goods. You will coordinate the delivery of materials into the plant and check their quality, before transporting them within the company, storing and labelling them correctly. Your tasks will also include getting the materials ready for production: you will take the finished construction elements out of storage put them together and load them safely for further transport. That way you will help to ensure that our construction sites are supplied with materials on schedule. You will be supported by modern scanners and programs through all the stages of your work.

After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to work in the warehouse. You can also continue your training to become a technician or master craftsman.

As part of your training as a metal technology specialist, you will learn the basics of metalworking as well as the planning, preparation and execution of our assembly activities. You will learn how to assemble a wide variety of components using different assembly techniques for our individual products. This may also involve working at heights. You will also acquire knowledge of the company's organizational structure.  

Once you have completed your training, you will be an expert in metalworking and work in a dynamically growing team on our construction sites. You will have the opportunity to take part in various further and advanced training measures.

During your apprenticeship as an industrial/electronics technician, you will gain a comprehensive insight into our electronic components and systems in the fields of electronic power supply, industrial plant engineering, and building systems and automation technology. 

You will learn about system modifications and upgrades, the installation of cable routing systems and power cables, the commissioning of machines and drive systems, and the assembly of switchgear. In addition, you will programme, configure and test our systems and safety devices. Furthermore, you will maintain and inspect our systems and be able to repair them if necessary. 

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you can work in maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to train as a technician or master craftsman and advance your career in a targeted manner.

Specialising in operating technology

Specialisation: Industrial electronics technician

Training location: Vöhringen
Duration of training: 2 years
Required qualification: at least intermediate school leaving certificate (technical secondary school leaving certificate)

As a process mechanic, you will ensure that surfaces such as metal are optimally protected from external influences. During your training, you will learn how to coat components both by hand and using machines. You will also carry out quality control checks on the coated parts and maintain the machine components.

After successfully completing your training, you will be able to work in powder coating and gain practical experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to further your qualifications by training to become a technician or master craftsman, allowing you to systematically expand your career prospects.

During your training, you will learn how to responsibly manufacture metal parts and components using specialized machines and tools. Your tasks will include setting up and operating punching and forming machines as well as monitoring and maintaining equipment. The finished components are cast into concrete parts.

After successfully completing your training, you can work in our production. In addition, you will have the opportunity to further your qualifications by training to become a technician or master craftsman.

Real estate agents administrators are the experts in the administration and management of commercial property (focusing on retail parks, office buildings, industrial units and smaller shopping centres). They are in daily contact with tenants, service providers and owners, and tackle all challenges relating to building management. If you choose this apprenticeship, you will learn about all commercial processes, from master data maintenance and the billing of operating and service charges right through to contract management.
