In the presence of Mayor Harald Zipfel, the GOLDBECKchen daycare centre opened yesterday. Located in Anna-Sigmund-Straße 2-4, the so-called mini daycare centre offers space for twelve children up to the age of three. It covers a total space of 100 square metres. The facility is run by sira Kinderbetreuung gGmbH, which is specialised in company childcare. The new childcare centre is located on the TONI campus, which Goldbeck completed for TONI Neuried KG in 2022.

The rooms of the GOLDBECKchen daycare centre include a play area, a kitchen, a bedroom and child-friendly sanitary facilities. GOLDBECKchen will open its doors to children from 8 am to 4 pm. The children of Goldbeck employees are just as welcome as children from external families. Three to four carers will look after the children every day.

Dominik Wetzel, Commercial Director at Goldbeck, emphasises the company's responsibility towards its employees and society: “By opening the GOLDBECKchen childcare centre, we are sending out a clear signal of corporate responsibility and social sustainability. We want to make it easier for employees to combine family and career and at the same time offer external families a high-quality childcare facility.“ GOLDBECKchen is therefore not only a place where children are well looked after, but also a further enrichment for the corporate culture.

The city's mayor, Mr Zipfel, expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the new childcare centre: “I am pleased that companies like Goldbeck are taking responsibility for the quality of life of their employees and at the same time making a contribution to the infrastructure of our community. The GOLDBECKchen daycare centre is not just a childcare facility, but a place of community and integration.“

Christina Ramgraber, Managing Director of sira Kinderbetreuung gGmbH, is also pleased with the opening: “With the innovative childcare concept of the Mini-Kitas, it is possible for companies of all sizes to realise their own company childcare. It's great that we can enrich the childcare landscape in the municipality of Neuried with twelve more places“. An open day at the KiTa is planned for 22 March.
